NEW CAPABILITY 04 / 06

Public assistant on approved facts

An assistant that can only say what a person has approved, and refuses the rest.

The risk with a public-facing assistant is not that it fails to answer. It is that it answers anyway. This one matches a question against an approved list, shows the source and the approval date, and refuses everything else, including every question about price.

Public assistant, approved facts only

It can only say what a person signed off.

Ask Apex Instruments a question. If an approved fact covers it, you get the approved wording with its source, its owner, and the date it was approved. If nothing covers it, you get a refusal and a route to a person. There is no third option.

Loading approved facts Reading the approved list

Nothing asked yet.

Type a question, or pick one of the examples below. Both rows run for real: the first row is covered by the approved list, the second row is not.

Answers these

Refuses these

How this works, honestly. This matches your words against the question forms on an approved list, counting rarer words for more, then repeats the approved answer without changing it. It does not call a model, it does not write new sentences, and it cannot invent a price, a discount, a date, or a comparison. If your question does not match, it refuses and hands you a person. The company, the products, the plans and the contact details are fictional, and the approved list is sample data written for this demonstration.

THE MECHANISM / SHOW THE SHAPE, NOT THE SOURCE

How it works.

Guardrails and gates
  1. 01Approve

A person writes the fact, names its source, and signs it with a date.

  2. 02Match

A question is compared against the approved question forms.

  3. 03Answer

On a confident match it returns the approved wording, its source, and who owns it.

  4. 04Refuse

On a weak match it declines, says why, and offers a person.

  5. 05Review

The approved list is visible, so anyone can see what it is allowed to say.

WHAT IT READS

  • An approved-facts file with sources, owners, and approval dates
  • The question forms each fact is allowed to answer
  • A fixed refusal and a route to a person

THE RULES IT HOLDS ITSELF TO

  • No answer exists that a person did not approve
  • Every answer shows its source and approval date
  • Price, discount, and competitor questions are refused by design
  • The refusal names the reason instead of apologising vaguely

This is a new capability, built for this portfolio. It is not part of a client engagement, and nothing here is connected to a company’s internal system. The sample company, Apex Instruments, does not exist.
