The executive summary
Two pages an operator can read in four minutes, with the decisions pulled to the front.
This runs in client systems today. The sample below was regenerated for a fictional company.
The point of a summary is not brevity, it is that someone can act on it. This one puts the verdict first, keeps every figure agreeing with every other figure, and ends with the decisions that need a name and a date beside them.
